Congratulations on your
pregnancy!

Kraamzorg Professionals is a partnership of enthusiastic and experienced maternity caregivers who provide care during the special period of childbirth and the following postpartum period. Our service area is Amsterdam and Haarlem.

We provide high-quality customized care and strive to tailor the care as much as possible to your personal situation and needs.

Our goal is to provide one consistent maternity caregiver throughout the postnatal period. If unforeseen circumstances arise and a change is necessary, we will handle it and ensure a smooth transition by facilitating effective communication and information transfer among our team.

During labor and in the postnatal period, we work together with midwives.

We are all registered with KCKZ (Knowledge Center for Maternity Care) where we can take various courses and training. We are also affiliated with the industry organization BO.

In our organization, we have maternity nurses who speak multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, and Arabic.

Zo ontzettend goed geholpen door Nadia! Ik ben zo blij dat ik haar als kraamverzorgster had, had geen ander willen hebben! Ze is rustig helpt met alles waar nodig is ze heeft mij en de kleine goed geholpen in de kraamweek en ookal was ze niet bij mij thuis kon ik altijd bij haar terecht als ik een vraag of hulp nodig had! Nadia is een topvrouw en als ik weer een kindje krijg wil ik zeker haar weer! Dankjewel Nadia voor alles wat je hebt gedaan in de kraamweek!

We hadden een echt goede ervaring met Cassiana. Ze was altijd vol energie en blij ons te helpen op alle mogelijke manieren. Het hielp ons beter en sneller Osip's behoeften te begrijpen en zelfverzekerder te zijn in onze verdere ouderschap. Dank je wel, Cassiana!

Zo ontzettend goed geholpen door lieve Cassiana. Ze is van zoveel waarde geweest in onze kraamweek en stond elke dag voor ons klaar, ook voor onze peuter. Cassiana voelt dingen goed aan en helpt zonder dat je het haar hoeft te vragen. Wij zaten naast de kraamweek ook midden in een verhuizing/verbouwing en Cassiana is ontzettend flexibel en past zich aan naar de omstandigheden. Bedankt lieve Cassiana en veel succes in je verdere loopbaan als kraamverzorgster, je bent gemaakt voor dit beroep!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

When you are pregnant, you also face the question: what do I need to have at home? What do I need for the birth, whether it’s at home or in the hospital? What do I need once the baby arrives? You will surely receive a lot of advice on what should be included in the baby essentials. With this list, you won’t miss much, and you can use it as a checklist while shopping!

  • Request a maternity package from your health insurance provider.
  • Rent bed raisers from a home care store (the minimum height of 80 cm is determined by the Arbo law).
  • Extra pack of underpads

  • Ensure that the delivery kit is placed in a clear location so that we can quickly find it during the home birth
  • Make sure that your birth plan is placed in a visible location, such as on the changing table.
