Congratulations on your
pregnancy!

Kraamzorg Professionals is a partnership of enthusiastic and experienced maternity caregivers who provide care during the special period of childbirth and the following postpartum period. Our service area is Amsterdam and Haarlem.

We provide high-quality customized care and strive to tailor the care as much as possible to your personal situation and needs.

Our goal is to provide one consistent maternity caregiver throughout the postnatal period. If unforeseen circumstances arise and a change is necessary, we will handle it and ensure a smooth transition by facilitating effective communication and information transfer among our team.

During labor and in the postnatal period, we work together with midwives.

We are all registered with KCKZ (Knowledge Center for Maternity Care) where we can take various courses and training. We are also affiliated with the industry organization BO.

In our organization, we have maternity nurses who speak multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, and Arabic.

We hebben kraamzorg professionals benaderd, omdat ik dit keer graag van te voren wilde weten wie er kwam, i.p.v dat er zomaar iemand uit een grote organisatie naar ons toe werd gestuurd. Ik ben super blij dat Carina bij ons is gekomen, ze heeft super goed geholpen met alles: borstvoeding die niet lukte, omgang met mijn oudere zoontje, huishouden en ze heeft veel gezelligheid en vertrouwen gebracht. Ik heb een fijne week gehad en vond het jammer dat ze wegging!

Wij hebben tot onze grote tevredenheid Carina als kraamverzorgende gehad bij ons tweede kindje. Wij hebben deze 2e keer met zorg iemand uitgezocht waarvan wij dachten dat ze paste bij ons gezin (onze eerste kraamervaring was niet fijn). Carina heeft onze eerste ervaring gelukkig ruimschoots goedgemaakt. Ze heeft als lactatiekundige IBCLC veel verstand van borstvoeding, heeft een warme persoonlijkheid en heeft ons met goede zorg omringd. Ze kan daarnaast ook goed een luisterend oor bieden, weet goed in te schatten wanneer er wel behoefte is aan zorg en wanneer het beter is een stapje terug te doen. Ze heeft kennis van natuurlijke kraamzorg en weet ook wat van dragen. We raden Carina van harte aan!

Top week gehad met Mariska. 🙂 Een kraamzorg professional! Jammer dat het over is, maar we hebben zoveel geleerd en veel zelfvertrouwen gekregen dat het ons gaat lukken! Dank ook voor de fijne gesprekken, gezelligheid, helpende hand ook in het huishouden… We kunnen Mariska niet genoeg bedanken. En mocht er een nummer 2 komen weten wij wie we als eerst bellen! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

When you are pregnant, you also face the question: what do I need to have at home? What do I need for the birth, whether it’s at home or in the hospital? What do I need once the baby arrives? You will surely receive a lot of advice on what should be included in the baby essentials. With this list, you won’t miss much, and you can use it as a checklist while shopping!

  • Request a maternity package from your health insurance provider.
  • Rent bed raisers from a home care store (the minimum height of 80 cm is determined by the Arbo law).
  • Extra pack of underpads
  • 2 garbage bags and 2 buckets
  • Ensure that the delivery kit is placed in a clear location so that we can quickly find it during the home birth
  • Make sure that your birth plan is placed in a visible location, such as on the changing table.
  • 1 digital thermometer
  • 2 hats
  • 6 onesies in size 50-56
  • 6 outfits in size 50-56
  • 2 hats in different sizes
  • 12 muslin cloths
  • 6 burp cloths
  • 1 metal, seamless hot water bottle
